A visitor from the North

We had a visit by a good friend and colleague, Daniel Larsson between the 4 – 7 October. He is working in northern Sweden and came all the way down to Gothenburg for a 3-days visit. Daniel is one of the top three geologists at the Swedish Geological Survey’s (SGU) local office in Malå. The community of Malå is situated on the western edge of the Skellefteå mining district 1200 kilometres from Gothenburg. We invited him for dinner all three nights at our home at Erik Dahlbergsgatan. Everything was fantastic; the company and the food, and the dogs behaved well and seemed to remember Daniel (he did the clever trick of bringing dog treats for them).
