Autumn greetings

With Halloween, Thanksgiving, All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day coming up, we fondly remember our stay in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania, where our landlord and -lady Bonnie and Pete, did a fantastic job at decorating their house for this time of year. On All Souls’ Day (the Roman Catholic day), the 2nd of November Erik’s father Carl Edvard will turn 97. We are very lucky to still have him around! For the ones who are no longer here, special thoughts and fond memories goes to Oma and Opa (Corry and Ynte) Stockmann (grandparents), Moster Tove Rasmussen (grandmother’s sister), Staffan Sandström (my brother’s Father-in-law), Birgitta Sturkell (Erik’s mother), Margareta Ramstedt (Erik’s aunt), Susan Pitts (friend from London), Ulla and Maurits Lindström (Erik’s supervisor and wife), Tom Flodén (Erik’s supervisor), Dan Zetterberg (colleague from Stockholm University), Mogens N. ‘Gulli’ Guldbrandsen (friend from Arctic Institute, Copenhagen), Godtfred Høpner Petersen (colleague from Ikka Project), Fred Roots (friend from Northern Sciences Network), Erik Schou Jensen (friend from Geological Museum, Copenhagen), Ole Bang Berthelsen (colleague from Geological Institute, Copenhagen), Ellen Nilsson (neighbour from Gundsømagle), and friends from the Siberian Husky sled dog world, Yvance Jong and Ivan Langstrup. All of these people have contributed in a positive way to our lives.
