Puppy ‘Jörfi’

This beauty of a Smooth Collie puppy, Jörfi will move to Sweden as soon as Rabies restrictions allow it. She is bred by kennel Mabinogion in the Netherlands by Jolanda and Raymond Berkelmans and her registered name is Mabinogion Eadith. Erik has decided on a new Icelandic name for our coming family member – this time ‘Jörfi’ named after Jöklarannsóknafélag Íslands (JÖRFÍ, https://jorfi.is). In translation, this is the Glaciological Society of Iceland, which Erik has been a member of and taken part in their annual spring trip to Vatnajökull for decades. Puppy ‘Jörfi’ has the colours of the Icelandic nature and is from the ‘Last Kingdom’ litter, a series about vikings in England, and therefore seems like a good name for her 🙂 We look very much forward to welcome her to our home!
