Short visit to Holland

Directly after returning from Greenland, I continued with my mother by car to the Netherlands. The main purpose was to pick up our pup ‘Jörfi’, but it gave us the possibility for a short family visit, too. We finally had the chance to celebrate my aunt Helma’s 80th birthday at a very nice restaurant close to one of the many canals. I love this life with water and boats everywhere, and that it is so easy and safe to bike in the country. We probably biked 40-50 km during the weekend. My cousin Ynte, wife Siun and son Cathal (who is going to study at Chalmers in Gothenburg this fall) came over for a coffee visit on Sunday. Finally, Monday we drove to Dordrecht to pick up Jörfi at Kennel Mabinogion and then back to Denmark/Sweden.
