Springtime in Sweden

This past weekend offered by far the highest temperatures of the year so far. After a quite miserable foggy and wet winter in Gothenburg, it was great to see the sun again and feel some warmth. We went to visit our friends Lena and Calle who lives in the forest north of Gothenburg. While Calle was left home to warm up our newly-baked cinnamon buns, the rest of us took the four dogs for a walk. Two Briards and two Smooth Collies, who specialises in finding as many ‘godis stenar’ (dog treats stones) as possible. The two Briards even went for a swim in the lake we passed on the way, but not the Collies :-). The forest at Lena and Calle’s place always makes me think of the fairy tales of John Bauer. Mainly all the moss covering the forest floor and trees. Really beautiful in my opinion and calming for your soul!
