Barbecue for consultants

The summer 2026 barbecue for professional consultants in the geological line of work took place on the 6th of June. This now annual (third time) barbecue is gathering the usual suspects: Erik M., Eric H., Erik A., Egill, Christian Ramböll, and Martin Lera. Ulf, another consultant, normally joins us but could not come this year. As tradition has it, I had planned an activity, which this year was the making of our outdoor dinner table. The table had started falling apart from years of standing outdoor all year around. Hence, I made a plan! Luckily, the basic structure of the table was in a good shape, so it only needed a new top. I got help in the preparation of the pieces, and at the party, the gang of ‘usual suspects’ put it together. This was fortunate because it meant we had a dinner table for the steaks served with luxury potato salad from Linda Gao. For dessert we had cheeses. Martin brought a fig tree that he planted. We were blessed with such good weather, which meant that dinner was served outdoors and we could stay outside until around 8 pm.
