Sveriges geologi – new book

If you are still looking for inspiration for Christmas presents this book might be a good choice :-). After more than ten years of work, the new popular science book on Sweden’s Geology is finally here. The book is entitled ‘Sveriges geology – en resa i til loch rum’ (see more details here), published by Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet in Stockholm. Erik and his colleague Jens Ormö have contributed to the chapter on Impacts, i.e., asteroids and meteorite craters in Sweden. There are probably more impact craters than you think, e.g. Siljan, Dellen, and of course the important double crater Lockne – Målingen that Erik and Jens have been working on since the early nineties. If you want to order a copy of this 600 page long well-illustrated book, you can order it through e.g., Adlibris: https://www.adlibris.com/sv/bok/sveriges-geologi-en-resa-i-tid-och-rum-9789171737298
